FAQs
Yes, the burrs in many Timemore grinders can be swapped, but how easy it is to do so depends mostly on whether you have an electric grinder or manual model. The burrs in the Sculptor 064S can easily be swapped out, with many other options for 64mm flat burrs on the market. However, before changing, we’d highly recommend experimenting with these burrs, as they are crafted with SUS420 stainless steel and the dual purpose design of the 064S burrs makes them able to grind fine enough for espresso while maintaining high uniformity for pour-over. Swapping the burrs in the manual Timemore coffee grinders is more difficult, as the outer burr is press-fitted into the aluminium body of the grinder, so are not designed to be changed frequently, if at all.
Absolutely. Both the electric and manual Timemore grinders feature adjustments to enable you to grind to a very fine consistency which is ideally suited to be used in conjunction with your espresso machine, as well as amending for the coarser grind that is required for pourover and filter.

The S2C Burr Technology is patented by Timemore, and uses a two step process to grind the beans. Sharp vertical ridges first break the beans into uniform chunks, then the lower teeth grind from here. This helps to reduce crushing and any micro-dust that can result in bitterness, and as a result, the consistency is better and the flavour is stronger.
