Your Ascaso espresso machine will come with a walnut wood spouted portafilter, single and double baskets and an Ascaso branded tamper. For the optimal brewing experience, we would recommend also investing in digital coffee scales and a calibrated tamper.

After every shot, purge the group head with water to remove any remaining coffee grounds and oils, then clean the steam wand with a clean damp cloth to prevent milk residue from building up. At the end of the day, remove the drip tray and water reservoir, clean and allow to dry fully before returning. Once a week, disassemble the shower head and clean with a dry brush to remove any residue. Once a month, deep clean the group head with a specific cleaning solution. Descaling is required around every 6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water, with full instructions provided in the manual.
