S2C Burr Technology is patented by Timemore and uses a two step process to grind the beans. Sharp vertical ridges first break the beans into uniform chunks, then the lower teeth grind from here. This helps to reduce crushing and any micro-dust that can result in bitterness — as a result, the consistency is better and the flavour is stronger.
