The Grinder That Eliminates Guesswork
The Fiorenzato AllGround Sense brings professional grind by weight technology to your countertop. Built by Fiorenzato — with over 80 years of Italian grinder making heritage, the AllGround Sense uses an integrated load cell scale to weigh your coffee in real time as it grinds, delivering the exact dose you set on the touchscreen. No separate scales. No timed dosing. No wasted coffee. Just press, grind, and brew with confidence.
Grind By Weight. Patented Floating Load Cell Technology
At the heart of the Sense is Fiorenzato's patented floating load cell with protective anti-interference technology. Unlike traditional timed dosing, this system compensates automatically for changes in bean density, grind size adjustments, and environmental variables. Delivering accuracy within ±0.1g. The latest version features improved container detection for faster, more reliable weighing and an increased dosing limit of up to 50g for single and double doses.
64mm Dark-T® Coated Flat Burrs
Precision engineered in house by Fiorenzato using CNC machining, the AllGround Sense features 64mm flat burrs crafted from M340 steel and coated with Fiorenzato's proprietary Dark-T® blend of titanium, aluminium, carbon, and nitrogen.
These burrs deliver exceptionally uniform particle distribution and last up to 5x longer than standard steel burrs. They have been lab tested to grind approximately 1,400kg of coffee over their lifespan.
Micro Step Grind Adjustment
The micrometric ring nut grind adjustment system combines the precision of stepless adjustment with the repeatability of stepped systems. With 10µm increments, you can make ultra-fine changes to grind size and return to the exact same setting every time — critical when dialling in espresso or switching between beans.
Intelligent Colour Changing Display
The AllGround Sense doesn't just grind, it adapts. The intuitive CapSense touchscreen automatically detects which grind range you've selected and changes colour to match: Red for espresso, Blue for moka pot, and Green for filter brewing. Each mode offers programmable dose presets, so switching between brew methods takes seconds, not minutes. The dose size can also be easily adjusted and selected from the touch screen display.
Tool Free Burr Access, Easy Maintenance & Low Retention
Press two side pins then lift and you have instant access to the grinding chamber. No screwdrivers, no recalibration required. The upper burr carrier removes without disturbing your grind setting, so you can deep clean regularly without losing your dialled in recipe. The magnetic grind chute minimises retention, and the sound insulated casing keeps noise to a minimum.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense unique?
The standout feature of the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense is its integrated grind-by-weight technology. A precision load cell scale is built directly into the portafilter fork, automatically taring the portafilter to zero and stopping the grind the moment your programmed dose is reached — accurate to within 0.1g. This eliminates the need for a separate coffee scale and removes the guesswork from dosing entirely.
What burrs does the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense come with?
The AllGround Sense comes with 64mm Dark-T coated flat burrs made from M340 stainless steel and coated with a blend of titanium, aluminium, carbon and nitrogen. This coating makes them five times more durable than standard burrs, with a rated lifespan of 1,400kg of coffee. They are manufactured using CNC machines in Fiorenzato's Italian factory for precision tolerances and consistent performance.
Is the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense good for espresso?
Yes, the AllGround Sense is designed primarily for espresso and excels at it. The stepless ring nut micrometric adjustment gives infinite grind size options for precise dial-in, the load cell dosing ensures an accurate dose every time, and the 64mm Dark-T burrs deliver the particle uniformity needed for consistent extraction. The touchscreen displays in red when in espresso mode, with two programmable dose presets and a manual grind option.
Can the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense grind for filter and pour over?
Yes, the AllGround Sense is a true all-purpose grinder. It automatically detects which grind range you are in and adapts its touchscreen interface accordingly — red for espresso, blue for Moka pot and fine methods, and green for filter brewing. Each mode has its own programmable dose presets and the grind-by-weight system works across all brew methods, making it equally capable for pour over, French press, batch brew and Moka pot.
How does the colour-changing touchscreen work on the AllGround Sense?
The AllGround Sense features an IPS touchscreen that automatically detects the grind range you have selected and changes colour to match the brewing method — red for espresso, blue for Moka pot, and green for filter. Each mode displays its own dose presets and controls, making it intuitive to switch between brew methods and store your preferred settings for one-touch operation.
Is the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense quiet?
Yes, the AllGround Sense is engineered to minimise vibration and noise. The cast steel housing and precision motor mounting reduce operational noise significantly, and at 1,600 RPM with a 250-watt motor it runs quietly enough for early morning use without disturbing the household — which is impressive for a grinder of this performance level.
How do you maintain the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense?
The AllGround Sense is designed for easy maintenance. The top burr is removable without any tools, giving quick access to the burr set and grind chamber for cleaning with a dry brush. The anti-static design and optimised chute geometry minimise retention and mess during daily use. Regular brushing of the burrs and chute is all that is needed for routine maintenance.
Where is the Fiorenzato AllGround Sense made?
The Fiorenzato AllGround Sense is designed and manufactured in Italy, drawing on over 80 years of Fiorenzato's commercial grinder expertise. Approximately 80% of the production chain is controlled in-house, from burr fabrication through to final assembly, ensuring quality control at every stage.
