The DF64V is the smaller but upgraded version of the DF64 Gen 2. It has all the great features of the DF64 Gen 2 but has a smaller footprint, variable speed from its brushless motor, quieter running and magnetic removable grind chute for easy cleaning/maintenance and sleek wooden detail.
Features
The DF64V comes with a pre-calibrated 64mm upgraded DLC Burr set, with step less adjustment. This gives versatile grinding from Fine for Espresso to Coarse for Pour Over and Cold Brew. Another benefit of having 64mm Burrs is that they are easy to upgrade/interchange, with several options available to purchase from us and the aftermarket.
The adjustable speed allows you to experiment with different grinding techniques in increments of 100 from 600 to 1800 RPM.
It also includes a 58mm black metal catch cup on a wooden stand for easy transfer.
The single dose hopper with bellow can hold up to 40g of beans, there is also a ‘antipopcorn’ disc installed to the hopper to stop beans from jumping out during the grinding process.

The DF64V comes with a pre-calibrated 64mm stainless steel burr set. These burrs feature a stepless adjustment, providing exceptional grind versatility, and if in the future you’d like to experiment with different burrs, they can be easily interchanged.
The plasma generator minimises coffee retention by creating a plasma field within the grinder. With this, the grinding chamber is clearer and minimal particles stick to the burrs, so the consistency of the grind is better. Plasma generators are a very technical feature and it’s rare to find them within a grinder at this price point, which is why the DF64V, and other DF grinders with the plasma generator, are such popular choices on the market.
The best RPM to use on the DF64V is dependent on how coarse of a grind you’re wanting to achieve. If you’re wanting a coarser grind for pour over or filter coffee, then an RPM of around 800 works well. For a much finer grind to get the most out of your espresso, an RPM of 1,300 works well. The versatility allows you to experiment with different grinds within your home brewing.
